How it works

Simple for you. Thorough on site.

You send the property. We deal with the agent, make the visit and capture what you need. Here’s exactly what happens, and when.

The process

Four steps. We do the travelling.

Most requests are confirmed within one to two business days, depending on the agent and inspection times.

  1. A couple looking at a laptop in the evening

    Send us the property

    We arrange access

We contact the agent or authorised representative and agree a time. You get a confirmed time and price before paying.

  3. An open-plan dining and living room with sliding doors to the garden

    We visit for you

Good requests look like this

  • “Please show the backyard and the side access.”
  • “How much natural light gets into the living room?”
  • “Show me the street, the parking and the neighbours.”
  • “Focus on the kitchen and bathrooms.”

Live viewing

Join us from wherever you are.

A FarViewer visits the property and connects with you on a video call. You decide where the camera goes.

  • A closer look at any room
  • The view from the windows
  • Outdoor areas and the yard
  • Parking and access
  • Visible fixtures and fittings
  • The street and surroundings

You’ll get a secure meeting link with your confirmation. Open it on your phone or computer at the agreed time; there’s nothing to install. We only record the call if you, the agent and anyone present agree.

FAQ

Good questions.

Do you need the agent’s permission?

Yes. Every visit is arranged with the agent, owner or another authorised representative. We never enter a property without permission, and we follow any conditions they set, such as no photos of personal belongings.

When do I pay?

After we’ve confirmed access and a time, and sent you a confirmed price. Submitting a request costs nothing. Payment is taken securely by our payment provider; we never see or store your card details.

What if the agent says no, or the property sells?

If we can’t arrange access, you won’t be charged. If a confirmed viewing is cancelled by the agent or the property goes under contract before we visit, we’ll offer a full refund or move your booking to another property. See cancellations and refunds.

Is a FarView viewing a building inspection?

No. We record what can be seen during an ordinary visit. We’re not licensed building or pest inspectors and we don’t assess structure, compliance or hidden defects. If you’re planning to buy, arrange those inspections separately.

How quickly will I receive my viewing?

We confirm the delivery time when we confirm your booking. Live viewings happen in real time; recorded viewings are delivered after the visit once the media is checked and organised.

Can you view rentals as well as homes for sale?

Yes. Rental inspections are often short and fixed, so send the listing as early as you can. Some agents require applicants to attend in person; we’ll tell you if that’s the case.

Which areas do you cover?

We’re live across the Sapphire Coast of NSW, from Bermagui to Eden and inland to Bega and Candelo, and we’re adding new areas as we bring on local FarViewers. Search your suburb on our coverage map. If we’re not there yet, you can ask us to tell you when we are.

Can I share my viewing?

Yes. Your private link can be shared with your partner, family or broker. It expires after a set period and is never published or listed anywhere.

Do you work for the agent or the seller?

When you book a FarView viewing, we’re attending for you. We report what we see plainly, and we don’t advise on price or negotiate. FarView’s parent, VUELO, also provides property photography to agents; FarView viewings are kept separate and are never shared with an agent or seller unless you ask us to.
