Terms of service

These terms apply when you request or book a viewing from FarView, a service operated by [VUELO legal entity name, ABN], of [business address] (“FarView”, “we”, “us”).

1. What FarView does

FarView arranges to visit a property on your behalf and records what can be seen during an ordinary visit, in the format you choose: photographs, recorded video, a 360° tour, a live video call, and aerial images where permitted. We deliver that material to you privately.

2. What FarView doesn’t do

• We are not a real estate agent or buyer’s agent. We don’t negotiate, make offers, or advise you whether to buy, rent or bid.
• We don’t provide building, pest, structural, engineering, electrical, plumbing or compliance inspections, valuations, or legal, financial or conveyancing advice.
• We can’t identify concealed defects, and we don’t move furniture, lift coverings or test appliances or systems.
• Our observations are general, visual and made at one point in time. They are not a guarantee of the property’s condition.

You should obtain independent professional advice and inspections before making a decision about a property.

3. Requests, access and confirmation

• A request is not a booking. Submitting a request is free.
• Every visit needs permission from the agent, owner, occupant or other authorised representative. We will only attend with that permission and will follow their reasonable conditions on site, which may limit what we can capture.
• When access is arranged, we send you a confirmed time, scope and total price. Your booking is confirmed when you pay that price.
• Confirmed prices are held until the time stated on your payment link.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in Australian dollars and are the total you pay[, including GST]. Payment is processed by Stripe. We don’t receive or store your card details.

5. Delivery

We deliver recorded viewings through a private link within the timeframe stated in your confirmation. Live viewings take place at the agreed time over a video-call link. Links expire after a stated period; please save anything you are permitted to download.

6. Recording and consent

We will only record video or audio where the agent, owner or occupant has agreed. Live calls are recorded only if everyone taking part consents. Some properties may restrict photography of personal belongings, and some agents may not allow downloads.

7. Aerial images

Drone flights are subject to Civil Aviation Safety Authority rules, weather, airspace, safety and the owner’s or agent’s permission. If we cannot fly, the aerial add-on is not charged or is refunded.

8. Using your viewing

Your viewing is for your personal use in deciding about the property, and you may share it with people helping you decide. You must not publish it, use it to advertise the property, or sell it. Copyright in the material remains with [VUELO legal entity].

9. Cancellations and refunds

10. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make about a property based on a viewing, or for matters outside the scope described in section 2.

11. Privacy

We handle your personal information as described in our privacy policy.
